Join us at Merritt Island in Welland, Ont. on July 29, 2012 to run or walk 5km in memory of Julia D’Innocenzo. Julia suffered from Leukemia, and on September 12, 2009, after several drug treatments and a brave 11-month battle, the “Froggy Princess” (Julia loved frogs!) left us for a better place. The goal of Julia’s Journey is to celebrate the life of a hero, as well as to support the charities that were helpful to Julia and her family during her illness.
All participants must be registered to attend this years event (including children), this year we have incorporated a rate for children.
All participants must register before June 17, 2012 to receive a free t-shirt (new colour this year) and goody bag. No exceptions. A limited amount of t-shirts may be available for purchase day of run.
A BBQ and 50/50 draw will take place after the run/walk. All proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Hamilton and Help a Child Smile.
